Privacy Notice

Version: 1.2
Effective: August 25, 2026.

1. Who we are

Front Door Ops is a managed inquiry-control service provided by Lanier Local LLC. Lanier Local LLC is the legal business responsible for the service and this Notice. Front Door Ops is a service name and is not a separate legal entity. We help local service businesses configure and monitor online request paths through which prospective customers can ask for estimates or service.

2. Scope

This Notice describes personal information Front Door Ops may process when:

  • a prospective customer submits information through a Front Door Ops-managed request form for one of our business clients;
  • a client or prospective client communicates with Front Door Ops, completes onboarding, approves an implementation, or uses our service;
  • a contractor updates the operational status of a customer request; or
  • someone communicates with us about privacy, support, billing, or business matters.

A client may also have its own privacy practices. When a request is submitted for a client business, the information is provided so that the client can evaluate and respond to that request. Client businesses are responsible for their own subsequent use of the information they receive.

3. Information we may collect

Inquiry information may include:

  • name;
  • email address and phone number;
  • service/property address and city;
  • service requested;
  • description of the requested work;
  • timing preference;
  • access limitations or site notes;
  • preferred contact method;
  • photographs voluntarily uploaded with the request;
  • source information such as whether a controlled link came from a website, Google Business Profile, social channel, QR code, or direct link; and
  • operational status information such as whether the request was acknowledged, an estimate was scheduled, the request was not qualified, or no response was received.

Client/business information may include business name, website, contact names, email addresses, notification destinations, services, service area, qualification rules, brand assets, approvals, billing information handled by a payment provider, and written communications.

Our technology providers may also process technical information generated when their services are used, such as timestamps, form/submission identifiers, browser/device information, IP-derived information, logs, or security signals, according to their own services and privacy terms.

4. Information we do not want submitted

Unless a separately approved workflow specifically requires and protects it, do not submit:

  • Social Security numbers;
  • bank or payment-card numbers;
  • government identification numbers;
  • medical or health records;
  • account passwords or authentication secrets;
  • highly sensitive personal records; or
  • information unrelated to the service request.

Photographs should show only what is reasonably useful for the service request. Do not intentionally upload private documents, identification cards, payment information, or unrelated people.

5. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • receive and preserve a service inquiry;
  • provide the inquiry to the selected client business;
  • notify authorized client contacts that a request exists;
  • allow a client to acknowledge or record an outcome;
  • maintain an inquiry-control record and audit history;
  • detect delivery, data-quality, or unresolved-status exceptions;
  • configure, test, monitor, secure, and improve the installed request path;
  • produce factual operational reports for the client;
  • communicate with clients and prospective clients;
  • administer purchases, continuation decisions, cancellations, exports, and support;
  • prevent abuse, fraud, duplicate submissions, or security incidents; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.

We do not use photographs to provide professional safety assessments. We do not use inquiry data to invent pricing, appointments, emergency dispatch, or revenue attribution.

6. How information is shared

We may share inquiry information with:

  • the client business for whom the request was submitted;
  • service providers that host, transmit, store, secure, or help us operate the workflow; and
  • authorities, advisers, insurers, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, investigate abuse, or handle a legitimate business transaction.

Our current planned or used service-provider categories include the following; the exact provider used for a client is recorded in the installation or configuration evidence:

  • Tally and Jotform — form creation, submission collection, file uploads where enabled, provider submission identifiers, and form-generated notifications where configured and verified;
  • Airtable — structured operational records, inquiry state, event history, exceptions, and reporting data;
  • Cloudflare — domain DNS, static-site hosting/security, inbound email routing, and restricted authenticated outbound email where enabled;
  • Google services — business email, documents, and operational files; and
  • a payment processor such as Stripe when payment collection is activated.

Client businesses may use their own website, CRM, scheduling, field-service, or communications systems. When Front Door Ops is authorized to configure or connect such a system, information may also flow through that client-selected provider.

7. Sale and advertising use

Front Door Ops does not sell homeowner inquiry information for money and does not use homeowner inquiry information to build advertising audiences for unrelated businesses. We do not sell or transfer an email address after a commercial-email opt-out except as needed to a provider helping us honor that opt-out.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the service, operational proof, client reporting, dispute resolution, security, legal obligations, and appropriate backup/recovery purposes. Retention can vary by record type and by third-party provider capability.

Some providers may retain copies, logs, or backups according to their settings and policies. Front Door Ops will not promise a deletion or retention interval that the underlying provider cannot actually enforce. We will periodically review whether information remains necessary and will minimize information collected in the first place.

9. Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to a small managed service, including access limitation, minimum-data collection, separate operational records, integrity identifiers for status changes, and private handling of uploaded files where supported. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

If we discover a security incident involving information for which a notification duty applies, we will investigate and provide or support legally required notifications based on the verified facts and applicable law.

10. Choices and requests

Depending on the relationship and applicable law, a person may ask us to:

  • provide information about a Front Door Ops record associated with them;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete information we control when continued retention is not required or reasonably necessary; or
  • stop commercial marketing email from Front Door Ops.

A privacy request may be sent to ops@frontdoorops.com. We may need enough information to identify the relevant record and verify that a request is legitimate. We will not require unnecessary information merely to honor a commercial-email opt-out.

A person who asks us to stop Front Door Ops marketing email will be added to our suppression register. Transactional or relationship messages necessary to administer an existing service may still be sent when legally permitted and appropriate.

11. Children

Front Door Ops is designed for business services and property/service inquiries, not for children. We do not intentionally design the service to collect personal information from children.

12. Third-party links and services

Forms, emails, reports, or client pages may link to third-party sites or systems. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices and terms. Front Door Ops is not responsible for information a person independently provides directly to an unrelated third party outside the controlled Front Door Ops workflow.

13. Changes

We may update this Notice as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. A materially revised notice will be identified by a new version or effective date when published. We will not use a future notice to retroactively justify a materially different use of personal information where additional notice or permission is legally required.
